Sometimes, journalism still works

In the wake of Dana Priest's expose of failings at Walter Reed, the army has already begun with some public beheadings of responsible figures... proving that old-fashioned muckracking journalism can still exist in this fragmented country.

Another great part is, despite their hatred of the "MSM," the right-wingers could not effectively attack Priest's report without seeming anti-troop, which put them in a delightfully impossible situation.

By the by, I learned a new military term for dealing with everyday life: "Embrace the suck." It's become my new favorite term. I'm not sure that will ever make the front page of goarmy.com as a recruiting slogan... although maybe it should.
