So about me...

I will get this over with quickly!

I am a Midwesterner, a white, a liberal. I am not an artist, an engineer, a military buff, or someone who is particularly fond of reality TV programming. I am a feminist and I am a guy. I am a medical student. I am a journalist. I am a cat person. I am weird. I am a shut-in at times.

I like the show House, but you already knew this from the part where I said I was a "medical student."

I am not the smartest or cleverest person to write a blog. I am not Atrios, I am not Kos, I am not Jane Hamsher, I am not even Michelle Malkin. I do not have major credentials with a think tank, a news channel, a magazine or a radio show. I am just some guy with a laptop, an internet connection and a love of hearing myself talk (and seeing myself type).

I have Asperger's Syndrome.

I do not suffer from Asperger's Syndrome.

I think I am funnier than I actually am, but you already knew this from the part where I said I was a "guy."

I am a success. I am a failure. I am tall. I am not a basketball player. I laugh at stupid things. I have a brother and a sister. I have trouble getting close to other people, but you already knew this from the part where I said I have "Asperger's Syndrome."

Oh, and now I suppose I am a blogger, but you already knew this from the part where I said I have a "love of hearing myself talk (and seeing myself type)."
